Lots of care was taken in when designing the box and the material used for the outside is great.

This is what you get pulled out of the box, with the hair pieces not attached onto the head.
With this in mind it is probably better because Good Smile Company had produced Black Rock Shooter Animation Version with the large hair pieces molded on her head. During shipping or slight heavy handling caused the hair to break off an need repair. It happened to me. Plus if this hair was already attached the box would be a Lot wider.

I had a hard time with the pink wire that is included that you can put in the microphone and have it loop aroundher so I left it out of my photos. She really looks great with or without it.

Her face is gorgeous and has the right look to it of her yelling into the mic.

The sleeve on her is made with a rubbery plastic/PVC and can flex. The writing on it is also high in detail and looks great.

Yes you can see her white under panties and if you look closer you can see the top of her butt. They even handled the skin shading on her under the skirt quite well.

The hair flows great.  I love the color and shadows of the hair. The hair pieces are really long and the ends are molded onto small metal rods and that is what you will be inserting into the head to make it stay. You want to be careful when putting them in.

The microphone was handled really well detail wise and once again the sleeve.

The flow of all the pieces are great, the hair, the neck tie, her belt, just looks awesome.

Photobucket

The skirt and the shirt also look fantastic as the riffles and the creases are pretty faithful to her body

So the tower/spire that is her display base is really unique and they went all out for this as well.

Photobucket

The base is supposed to look like metal and they did a great job at it with the coloring and even the feel of it feels rough like minor rusting.

Where she stands was metal mesh and I believe it really is metal that is on there or just hard plastic.

This is where you can see how the base is roughed up looking and feeling.

So I say you should pick one up if you can. I bet the DX version is great but it was over my budget.
Be CAREFUL with this figure. She stands on one foot and her hair is delicate. Don't put her where something might brush up against her or a place that receives lots of wobbles. I say a display case as  it will keep the dust off her and she is confined, but if you don't have one just be careful when you dust her and make sure she is on a wide shelf where she wont tumble from crazy shaking.
